The Naledi Local Municipality is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed youths to participate in the Traffic Officer Learnership Programme 2024. As part of their commitment to addressing youth unemployment and fostering skills development, the municipality invites eligible candidates to apply.
Program Overview:
- The learnership program is a part of the Municipality’s commitment to addressing youth unemployment and providing opportunities for skills development.
- The training will be conducted by Matjhabeng Traffic Training Academy and will last for 12 months.
- The training will be done according to the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996.

Requirements:
- South African citizens with Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- SAPS Clearance results with no criminal record.
- Proof of medical examination.
- Applicants must permanently reside within Naledi Local Municipality’s jurisdiction.
Training Requirements:
- Pass a written assessment and an interview.
- Pass a physical assessment.
- Submit SAPS Clearance results.
- No other Criminal Clearances will be Accepted.
- Maintain fitness levels and undergo ongoing assessments.
Special Conditions:
- Completion of the training does not guarantee a permanent position.
- Extensive physical training required in accordance with the firearms and ammunition act.
- Successful candidates will wear a uniform, work shifts. and in all weather conditions.
- Only candidates residing in Dithakwaneng, Stella and Tihakeng will be considered.

applicants. Candidates must not canvass any Councillor or Municipal Official for preference.
