Basic Requirements:
- Grade 10
- Surf Proficiency Award certificate
- Valid retest certificate
- One (1) year relevant lifesaving experience
Note: Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
Key Performance Areas:
- Rescues drowning persons
- Patrols City beaches by checking local conditions of beaches
- Renders first aid to the injured by dealing with necessary injuries
- Operates rescue equipment including inflatable boat.
