X400 Junior Border Guards Trainee

POST: JUNIOR BORDER GUARD TRAINEES (400 OPPORTUNITIES)

Location: Gauteng 

STIPEND: R4,800

The Border Management Authority has identified the need to recruit additional 400 Junior Border Guards from the current unemployed youth who are in possession of any public security services learnership certificates, in order to train them through what it is called the Junior Border Guards Trainee Programme which will prepare these young people for possible future opportunities and placement in the Border Management Authority. 

The Border Management Authority invites suitable candidates to apply for the following trainee programme:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate

• Applicants must be not older than 35 years of age. 

Must have any training certificate in public security environment i.e., Certificate in Policing or National Diploma in Policing or National Certificate in General Security Services or any other relevant public or community Policing certificate.

Must have not been declared unfit to possess a firearm and be able to obtain firearm competency. Must have no criminal record. Knowledge of law enforcement. A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage. 

Trustworthy and self-motivated. Physical fitness. Discipline, empathy, external actualization, and frustration tolerance Comprehensive CVs should be accompanied by relevant certified copies of all required documentation.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo a fitness assessment process in order to determine the applicants’ level of fitness required for this programme.
